1 Thessalonians is an incredible testimony of the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ evidenced in the lives of real men and women who lived in times much like ours. Their world was in upheaval. Their moral values were at odds with the culture in apparent ways. They worked hard to bring the Gospel to those around them. In this study, we will see the power of God at work in the church's life, Christ's presence in their midst, and the Spirit's empowerment to ensure that God's mission of redemption continues until the day the Lord returns.
