The doctrine of hell is out of vogue and is the least mentioned and taught doctrine in the church. What is salvation if we are not saved from something? Being saved cannot be fully understood without knowing what we are saved from. In Christ, we are saved from our sin and its consequences: eternal punishment apart from God in a real place known as Hell.
