1. The main idea was “You were made by God, for something, with someone.” What is the “for something” Tyler spoke about? See Genesis 2:8 & 15.
2. Tyler brought up two important things about Adam. The first is that Adam’s creation is not a metaphor. Why else is Adam’s direct creation by God important? Listen to the sermon from 14 min 40 sec to 16 min 28 sec, then discuss it alongside Romans 5:18-19.
3. Genesis 2:18 has implications beyond marriage—a deep need for people to be in community to do the things God has called us to do. How have we been growing in community at Mayflower? How have you been growing? What can we do better?
