Pastor Anton Brown - 11/13/2022

  2. God's holiness
  3. Our salvation

Bible Fellowship Group Study Questions:

  1. In verses 11-12, the word corrupt is used three times. What evidence of corruption does Genesis, Chapters 3-6, offer?
  2. Pastor Anton defined sin as wrongdoing, a state of alienation from God, transgressing the law, and a debilitating ongoing state of enmity with God. What is at the core of these things (what is at the core of all sin)?
  3. The holiness of God speaks to God’s existence as completely separate from his creation and, at the same time, to his pure and utterly incorruptible nature.
  4. What evidence is there in Genesis 6:9-7:24 that God is separate from creation? See Genesis 6:12, Genesis 6:13, Genesis 6:17. Genesis 7:23.
  5. What evidence is there that God is by nature pure and incorruptible? See Genesis 6:11, Genesis 6:12, Genesis 6:3.
  6. How are we to respond to God’s holiness? See 1 Peter 1:15-16.
  7. Only the righteous will be saved. How do you obtain the righteousness needed for your salvation? See 2 Corinthians 5:21 and Romans 10:9-13.

Pray for one another.
