Isaiah 11:1-16

1. In what ways did Jesus fulfill verses 2-3? Can you think of examples from Matthew, Mark, Luke or John?
2. In verse 11, the term "remnant" is used to describe the people that the Lord will recover. Who makes up this remnant? What kind of people?
3. Is every single part of Isaiah's prophecy in chapter 11 going to take place in the future? Why or why not?
4. How are the nations inquiring of Jesus as it states in verse 10? Think about how the "root of Jesse" is a "signal for the peoples."
