Evil's Endgame | Revelation 20:7-10

Sermon Outline:

Big Idea: At the end of the millennium God's justice is demonstrated against the devil and those he deceived.

1. The end of a thousand years (7-8).
2. The end of those who oppose God (9).
3. The final end of the unholy trinity (10).

 1. Share your general thoughts about this passage with the group.

 2. In Revelation 20:7-8, it’s mentioned that Satan will be released after the thousand years to deceive the nations. What do you think about that? Why do you think God does this?

 3. The passage describes a swift and decisive judgment by God, where fire consumes those who oppose Him. How can this knowledge of God’s righteous judgment provide comfort and assurance to believers who may be experiencing persecution or trials in their lives?

 4. The unholy trinity, including the devil, the beast, and the false prophet, is cast into the lake of fire forever. How does this final end of evil reinforce the hope that believers have in the ultimate triumph of good over evil, even in the face of apparent adversity?

 5. The lake of fire = hell, a place of eternal torment that the Bible teaches us is a real place. What do you think about hell?
