Big Idea: When despair says no one is coming, the gospel declares Jesus has come—and He’s coming again.
- The Law Cannot Save You (1-4).
- Jesus has come to save us from our sin (5-10).
- The forgiveness of sin is accomplished (11-18).

1. What does Hebrews 10:1–4 reveal about the purpose and limitations of the Old Testament sacrificial system?
2. According to Hebrews 10:5–10, how does Christ fulfill what the law and its sacrifices could never accomplish?
3. How does Hebrews 10:11–18 describe the result of Jesus’ once-for- all sacrifice and the promise of the new covenant?
4. Where in your life are you still trying to be your own priest—offering effort, penance, or performance instead of trusting Christ’s finished work?
5. When you fail spiritually or morally, what is your first instinct—hide in guilt, try harder, or rest in Christ? What does that reveal about your understanding of grace?
6. Pastor Anton said, “Only Jesus can save, not even your quiet time or convictions.” What are you tempted to rely on besides Jesus for a sense of righteousness or acceptance?
7. How does knowing that God “remembers your sin no more” change the way you relate to Him in prayer, worship, or obedience this week?
8. Hebrews 10 says we are both perfected and being sanctified. How might you actively pursue holiness this week—not to earn God’s favor, but because you already have it?
