Bible Fellowship Group Study Questions:
1. Draw Near (vv. 19–25) According to Hebrews 10:19–22, what specific reasons are given for our confidence in drawing near to God? How does the imagery of the curtain and Christ’s flesh impact our understanding of access to God?
2. Don’t Drift (vv. 23–31) What does it practically look like to "hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering"? How does the text connect our perseverance with our participation in the life of the church?
3. Look Back to Go Forward (vv. 32–39) Why does the author of Hebrews call the readers to “recall the former days”? What is the connection between remembering past faithfulness and growing present endurance?
4. When are you most tempted to stop drawing near to God? What distractions or sins quietly pull you away, and how might you intentionally turn back this week?
5. Think about a time when spiritual drifting felt easier than holding fast. What were you believing about God in that moment? How does the truth that “He who promised is faithful” reframe your heart?
6. Who in your life do you tend to avoid when you're struggling? How might God be calling you to seek out encouragement or to be the one who stirs up others to love and good works?
7. How can recalling a past season of spiritual endurance strengthen your faith today? Can you identify any ‘better possession and abiding one’ that helped sustain you during that time?
8. Hebrews 10:31 says, “It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.” How should a proper reverence for God’s holiness shape the way you fight sin and encourage others in their walk with Christ?
