Holy Week- Good Friday: 1 Peter 2:24

“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24
At the cross, the weight of our guilt was placed upon Christ. This was no accident of history, but the predetermined plan of God. Jesus bore the curse of our sin in His own body, satisfying divine justice and opening the way to true righteousness. His wounds are not merely a symbol of suffering—they are the means of our redemption. On this solemn day, we remember that substitution is at the heart of the gospel: Christ died, so we might live.
