Big Idea: Jesus, our Great High Priest, anchors our hope in God’s unshakable promise and secures the open door into His presence.

BFG Study Questions

  • Where is your hope anchored? When life feels overwhelming, do you find yourself relying on your own strength, circumstances, or the promises of God? How can you more intentionally anchor your hope in Christ?
  • How does God’s unchanging character affect your faith? Hebrews 6 reminds us that God’s promises are secured by His unchangeable nature. What areas of your life reveal doubt in His faithfulness, and how can you grow in trusting Him?
  • Are you maturing in your faith like Abraham? The sermon calls us to imitate those who patiently endured in faith. How do you need to grow spiritually, and what steps can you take to cultivate a deeper trust in God?
  • What keeps you from full obedience? The message highlights that disobedience often comes from a lack of trust in God. Are there areas where you are hesitant to obey? How can you step forward in faith?
  • Do you live as if your access to God depends on your performance? Since Jesus has already secured our way into God’s presence, how does this truth change how you pray, worship, and relate to God?
  • How does the certainty of Christ’s priesthood shape your daily life? Jesus intercedes for us as our High Priest. How does this reality bring you comfort and courage in your current struggles?
