Big Idea: We are forewarned--Spiritual laziness puts us in danger of walking away from Christ.
- Spiritual immaturity limits your understanding (5:11-6:3)
- Be careful lest you fall away (6:4-8)
- God will not be unjust (6:9-12)

1. What evidences of spiritual sluggishness do you see in your life? Are there areas where you have become passive in your pursuit of Christ? How have you excused spiritual complacency?
2. How has your spiritual diet shaped your discernment? Are you still feeding on basic truths without applying them or actively seeking deeper understanding and obedience?
3. What truths of God’s Word have you neglected because they are difficult or convicting? Have you avoided certain doctrines or commands because they challenge your comfort, habits, or desires?
4. In what ways have you confused busyness with maturity? Have you equated church activity, ministry involvement, or knowledge accumulation with real growth in Christlike character?
5. How do you typically respond to conviction—do you repent, ignore, or justify? When confronted with sin or immaturity, do you humble yourself before God, or do you resist, delay, or make excuses?
6. Who are you imitating in your faith, and what kind of example are you setting for others? Are you following the faith of those who endure with patience, or have you become indifferent? Can others look at your walk and be encouraged toward Christlikeness?
