Big Idea: The heart of mankind is not changed in judgment but can only be transformed by the grace of Jesus Christ.

1. Early in the sermon, Pastor Anton mentioned a mitochondrial DNA study by Dr. Nathaniel Jeanson (the link is below). If scientific findings require interpretation, how should the Scripture relate to science?
2. How does Noah’s failure point us to Christ? Consider the covenants in your discussion.
3. Compare the pre-flood and post-flood condition of the heart of mankind (this includes the hearts of each person). What is the difference? Why is this important to recognize?
