Error
After his instruction about sowing and reaping (Gal. 6:7–8), Paul gives the following command to the church: “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith” (vv. 9–10). Christians are to persevere in doing good toward others, both unbelievers and, especially, those in the church. If you love kids, this is the ministry for you. Our nursery team has the opportunity to share God’s love in a direct and tangible way. This role requires a love for children, a willingness to serve, and a background check!
The Prayer Team is a small group of people who love to pray. As prayer requests come in, a Prayer Team member is committed to pray through the prayer list at least three times each week and write a note of encouragement for new requests for which they are praying. This can all be done through our website as members are praying through the list.
Read the Scripture from the pulpit every 7 to 8 weeks.
Do you sing or play an instrument? Audition for the Worship Team! Committment: Weekly Rehearsal on Thursdays, 7pm-8:30 pm; Warm Up 8 am each Sunday; attend 40+ worship services per year. Requirements: To be on the worship team you must be a member of Mayflower Church and have attended regularly for at least six months.
