Discipletown is our ministry to children grades K-5. Be a helper to the Discipletown Teacher for 35 minutes once every 4 to 6 weeks.

A warm smile, a firm handshake, these are the experiences that make a church a home. As a greeter you set the tone of a person’s visit by creating a welcoming environment. It’s also a great opportunity to make a ton of new friends that you’ll soon call family.

Tasked with preparing or providing desserts for the meal. This can include home-cooked or purchased desserts, considering the number of guests and dietary preferences if specified.

Responsible for preparing a simple, nutritious, and tasty meal for approximately 15 adults. Includes a main dish, side vegetables/salad, bread and butter. Meals will be cooked at the Briggs Building.

Meal Servers are in charge of serving the prepared meal to the guests. All food is served directly to guests. Meal servers may need to take home any perishable leftovers due to limited fridge space at the shelter.

If you love kids, this is the ministry for you. Our nursery team has the opportunity to share God’s love in a direct and tangible way. This role requires a love for children, a willingness to serve, and a background check!

The Prayer Team is a small group of people who love to pray.  As prayer requests come in, a Prayer Team member is committed to pray through the prayer list at least three times each week and write a note of encouragement for new requests for which they are praying.  This can all be done through our website as members are praying through the list.

Read the Scripture from the pulpit every 7 to 8 weeks.

Do you sing or play an instrument? Audition for the Worship Team! Committment: Weekly Rehearsal on Thursdays, 7pm-8:30 pm; Warm Up 8 am each Sunday; attend 40+ worship services per year. Requirements: To be on the worship team you must be a member of Mayflower Church and have attended regularly for at least six months.
